You know what I’m waiting for to come out in the theaters?

It’s Sherlock Holmes. I don’t know what case la, doesn’t seem to be anything I’m familiar with. Now you know I’m so eager to catch it? Because two of the most deeeelish men in the film industry are acting, side by side. And you bet that this pair is gonna make you laugh and gasp at the same time.

Yumm. Here’s a couple of screencaps I managed to grab from the trailer. And oh, Rachel McAdams is in it too but really, who cares about her?

“Mmm yes Watsons, I do agree with you that Miss Adams and lacy lingerie do go quite well together.”

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Robert Downey Jr. plays our ever eccentric Sherlock Holmes and Jude Law plays his right-hand man, Watson. Should really go see the trailer, it’s pretty hilarious. Although I can’t really see Sherlock Holmes as being a ladies man, I’ve always envisioned him to be this gentleman in his mid-forties with peppery gray hair, a cane and a pipe. Not forgetting the hat and his pocket watch complete with sharp tongue and quick wit.

“I’m guessing by the explosion, you forgot to turn off the stove again.”

I’m thinking that right after this comes out, pipes are going to be in fashion again. Speaking of which, how exactly does one smoke with a pipe? *scuttles off to Google*

Finishing up on Battlestar Galactica so you can pretty much expect a review from someone who used to think it was a crappy StarTrek/StarGate combi/remake and is now, very much hooked to it. That’s Commander Lee Adama by the way, played by Jamie Bamber.

who watches the watchmen?

Watchmen. You have to admit that there was so much hype surrounding it. Avid fans waited with bated breath, some in skepticism as they wondered just how close the movie adaptation will follow to the graphic novel. While the rest of us ignorant (lesser) mortals cluster together like sheep and whisper excitedly, feeding on the buzz Hollywood’s been sending over from across the seas (WEEZER reference!). Truthfully, I know nothing about Watchmen. I didn’t even read the Wiki on it and I usually read the Wiki for most movies I watch.

Trex (also known as the boyfriend) sent me this which captured perfectly how I saw others around me who were looking forward to its release in Singapore theaters on March 6.
